Chinese schools are good

These are some of the arguments put foward by the chinese educators and bloggers all the time.
1) Teachers in national schools are lazy and incompetent.
Where is the evidence to show that the teachers are lazy and incompetent. What is the basis for this? Has any study been conducted to ascertain the validity of this accusation. This is strictly based on hearsay propogated by the chinese extremist groupings such the Dong group. This view is alos propogated by really racing chinese who would never accept a national school or even an English medium schoo;s

2) Students in Chinese schools perform well

Where is the evidence? On what basis this is made. I know lots of schools that perform extremely well. One example is Sek Men Kebangsaan Jalan Empat in Bandar Baru Bangi. Students perform really well. Students of various races mixing together. I also know lots of chinese students from the vernacular schools who are arogant and insensitive to the multiracila living in Malaysia because of the education background

Malaysia our country

We have to accept the fact that Malaysia ia a multiracial country. Forever all the races will live and cohibit in this resource rich country. We have to work together to ensure that the country will continue to prosper and its people will converge and propel this great nation to a higher height. We need to be together and we need to get rid of the chauvinistic approach to life. One main obstacle that I see is the continued existence of the vernacular schools in Malaysia in particular the chinese schools.

The chinese people can speak/propogate/utilize/expand/control/ all the chinese language that they want but they should not be allowed to continue using the language to destroy the fragile cohesiveness of the various ethnic groups in our country. I see that the Malay politicians are working very hard to get the Malays to accept the multiracialness of the country and as I see it they have succeeded. Unfortunately, the politicians on the other side of the ethnic group are playing with fire. They purposely play the race card to fan the anger among the chinese community to to reject the status quo and to reject the dominance of the Mlaya. The problem with this agenda is that it will get out of hands and one dangerous consequence would be a disastrous effect to the country. I think Malaysia is the only country in the world in which the majority is beholden to the minority. Funny but that is the reality

THE BAD SIDE OF VERNACULAR SCHOOLS

The national schools are not perfect but there are more problems that one can cast apersion with regard to the vernacular schools. One of them would be that there is a lack of multiracial concept. One can safely assume that the only multiracial about the school is that it mainly caters to the ethnic chinese agenda. The students in the schools are mainly of chinese origin. The subjects are taught mainly in chinese with the exception of bahasa Malaysia and English subjects. The students are not exposed to the multiracial concept of living that will eventually be the way of living and coexisting. It is not uncommon to see chinese students eventually becoming very ethnocentric in their approach to life. I beg Malaysians in general to consider supporting the existence of chinese schools because these schools are nothing but a place that would only propogate race based education. We need to live together in harmony. We want our beloved country to succced. We need to train our generation the life of beautifully living together
